The coming of Jesus Christ
was foretold by the Father and by His prophets over many
centuries before the birth of
Christ here on earth. The birth of Jesus is the total
fulfillment of all that God promises to all of His
creation. Many of God's
people waited for His coming. The fulfillment of all
that God promises depends on the perfect completion of
every requirement
surrounding the birth and life of Jesus Christ, from the
circumstances of His birth, to the circumcision, the
dedication, the
sacrifices, the cleansing. All the Jewish laws were
fulfilled to affirm that He is the Messiah. He fulfills
all of the law so that
those who accept Him are free from the bondage of the
law through our faith in Christ.
