When we focus on the love,
goodness, and faithfulness of God our Father that He
displays to us in His word and real
life, how can we not see how much and how deeply He
loves us. He gives to us His only begotten Son, whom we
are to
cherish and nurture as He cherishes and nurtures us. The
Father gives to us His Son, Who willingly became the
sacrificial
Lamb for our sins. In all of this, Jesus brings us
everlasting Peace, as the Prince of Peace. This is not a
superficial worldly
peace, but He gives to us His perfect everlasting peace
that keeps Him and will keep us as we accept Him and
live for Him. |
